Moleskin

Introduction: Writing and Rhetoric are everywhere; further, we need to look everywhere for our material. You might find the best quote for an essay somewhere in a newspaper article, book, or Jay-Z lyric. By having, and using, a moleskin, you can start to build a collection of these ideas and quotes.

I will give you some assignments that only go in your moleskin. I will check it once a week-on Monday.

Assignment: Go to Borders, Staples or some other writing or office supply store and get a small notebook: ideally, a ≥moleskin≤ would be best because they are sturdier and built for the abuse you are going to give them.

First assignment, write down five odd things that you have heard people actually say.
