Essays We have written the following essays. Homer's Odyssey This is the story that is the source of all things. Nonetheless, it is not an easy work. These sites should help understanding.

Joseph Conrad: Heart of Darkness
Cyrano de Bergerac This great, odd play.
T.S. Eliot: In class we will do a smattering of "The Wasteland," all of "The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock," and all of "The Hollow Men."

John Milton Paradise Lost This work has been a major challenge for my students, but well worth the effort in the end.

James Joyce: Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man Just an amazing, mind blowing novel that requires as much help as humanly possible.
