Endangered Pleasures
About seven years ago I remember sitting in the classroom waiting for the clock to strike 10:00 oclock. Hearing the bell sound, I started slobbering and drooling for my daily cheese snack. While giving elbows to my peers, I sprinted to my cubby, thrashed through my bag and pulled out a Snack Pack then devoured it in 5 minutes or less. Unfortunately snacks have slowly disappeared from the United States civilization and the country is suffering.
People need snacks for many important reasons. First of all snacks give you more energy and supply great nutrition. Midway between breakfast and lunchtime stomachs start to ache and people are not able to focus on the job at hand. If people do not get snacks they are liable to get grumpy because of the pain they are going through.
Snacks also allow people to bond. When a bunch of people sit down and eat their frosted jelly doughnuts with chocolate sprinkles a bond is formed similar to that of sex in 1984. Lifetime friendships as well as life and business skills are all results of snack time bonding. You learn to sell high and buy low. For example, a person wont get much for a moldy cup of pudding, but he will definitely get a lot if he trades a nice plump apple.
Lastly having snack time helps you think. After snack time is over people feel refreshed and purified. They immediately get to work and do their best for the company or school. Snacks get people through the day and keep them working at a steady pace.
The endangered pleasures of snack time need to be reborn. The only place snacks are allowed in is elementary schools. Did you every stop and think that maybe the start of our education was because of snacks? Hopefully owners of companies and principles of high schools will realize that snacks are a necessity for growth in the community. Not having a snack is like not having a clicker to watch television.
