Monsters

In the Odyssey, as in any Epic story, the hero gets the monster he or she deserves.  The faults and weaknesses within the heart of the hero are tested by monsters that are peculiarly designed (by the storyteller) to attack the weakest part.

Heros respond to monsters in one of three ways.

They defeat them easily, and learn from them (Road of trials)

They must extend themselves to the utmost in order to win (climactic)

         They lose (hades)

In a clear, well-written essay, describe your own personal monster.  How can you conquer it?  Or can you?

Unlike other essays, this one will stay between
