Steps to the Paper

 

  1. What is your definition of success?

 

  1. Have you written a journal entry?

 

  1. Have you outlined your essay?

 

  1. Have you written a useful prospectus (draft)?

 

  1. Have you interviewed a subject?

 

  1. Have you selected references to poetry and literature?

 

  1. Have you found a quote from your own work?

 

  1. Have you found references to modern sources?

 

  1. Have you included those references smoothly, so that they support your point?

 

  1. Have you compiled all of those sources into a Bibliography or a Works Cited page?

 

  1. Have you proofread your paper for common errors of grammar and usage?

These items must be present for the paper to be graded.  If any of these elements is missing, the paper will be returned ungraded and a 0 will be entered.
